Creativity Jam Session With Eric Meyer: Ashore

photo

Check out this great photo from Eric Meyer and share your creativity.

I’m really biased. That’s the Jersey Shore, or “Down the Shore” as we Jersey-ites say. Memories of my own childhood in that there photo.

by hook or by crook i’ll be the first (poster) in this book… :)

i have several similar photos of the beaches where I grew up and every time I go home I make a point to go there for that nostalgic moment or two.

I remember a short story competition years ago - the result was a book called ‘The Fat man in History’ I think - where everyone wrote a story about an image of someone on the side of the road near all these overpasses in the United States…

so who was he, etc etc… turned out great reading. Its a really good way to get creativity flowing in people by providing a good photograph. Great stuff. Oh I used to be a pretty keen creative writer as a younger man btw.

I didn’t know you were a Jersey girl (although I’m not surprised to find out). Where did you grow up? I’m a midwesterner by birth, but I’ve been living down the shore since I was fourteen; even had lunch today on the beach….
