Sunday Dare: Find the Quote

I find this bit of dialog very amusing:

“He moved to Brighton”

“Foolish, but not illegal”

Dare ya: Name characters, situations, plot and so on. The more details, the more fun we have.

Now that is indeed a series consisting of numerous quotes.

    Including:

Gene: I think you’ve forgotten who you’re talking to.
Sam Tyler: An overweight, over-the-hill, nicotine-stained, borderline-alcoholic homophobe with a superiority complex and an unhealthy obsession with male bonding?
Gene: You make that sound like a bad thing.

I wasn’t really interested until the last series came around, and I thought I’d give it a go. Recently finished watching series one, and now I’m hooked. Thank goodness for Amazon DVD rental. I’m always late to the party… ;)

I have the feeling that Molly didn’t mean source the quote, so much as make up a hilarious situation in which the quote could be placed.

Having said that, I can’t pen one down, but I’d imagine there would be a whole load of good uses for that quote.

The series is promoted quite often on the BBC main webpage. They always have a shot of the guys standing beside some retro car. Now that I know its on DVD it’ll be on the must see list.
