Free Hugs
Back from world travels and now in the United States (not home yet though)!
Here’s a picture for everyone to enjoy. Web Directions North was a great conference, and I had a fantastic time. Thanks everyone!

The free hugs signs when Sick Puppies played at BDO this year were phenomenal, plenty of shirts as well, and why not? Hugs are great anytime.

What prompts a person to bare, or at least partially bare, their ’soul’ in such a public forum?
You have impressed three things in my observation.
One is that you are obviously a gentle soul.
Two, that behind this Internet facade there are people and not merely projects, written type, or whatnot.
Three, too mention an infrequently referenced Kipling quote to you regarding your presentation, comments and observations:
“You have bigger balls than I, Gunga Din.”
I’ll take a free hug any day.

Just thought you’d like a refreshing video about hugs. We have a neighbor here in Seattle who’s 90 years old and has written and recorded a song called: I Want A Hug. She has her own website and a CD at CDbaby. You can see her perform and teach the song to an audience at one of our local clubs – Amazing!
