Mineral Art
Photos from an 8,434 pound rock filled with azurite in drusy vugs, malachite, chrysocolla, quartz and iron oxides. Mined in Morenci, Arizona, about 45 miles from where I live in Tucson. Amazing colors! Check em out.

Hey Molly,
The pictures sound cool, unfortunately the Military filters flickr. Looks like I am going to miss seeing you at any conferences again this year. I have been mobilized to Iraq for the last 5 months and wont be home before next year. Oh well, that is what I volunteered for when I joined the Reserves. I do try to drop in here once in a while hope all is well.
Mike H.
Hey Michael,
Wow. I wish you well with all my heart, and hope that you are home very very soon, safe and sound. Please always drop by if you can.
And may peace go with you.
Thanks for providing interesting photos, the title of my next novel (Azurite in Drusy) AND a name for my next rock band (The Druzy Vugs) all in one post.
Note: the chances of my writing a novel and forming a band are both highly unlikely, so if you want to uses those titles, feel free to claim them. Maybe the book title would even work for a tech text: “The Art of CSS: Azurite in Druzy”.
Bill M.
Bill: Ha! And Kevin Lawver says he’s naming his next kid Drusy Vugs Lawver. I think that beats you out
Wow very nice pictures. Thank you for that blog, very intresting. Have a good day.
