Iceland
I’m in Iceland for IceWeb and I’ve taken precious few photos because I’m always either:
- Laughing at Eric’s jokes
- Looking at Andy’s code
- Trying to find my mascara. Because every girl, no matter where she is in the world, needs her mascara.
Okay, all that aside you must see Dave Shea’s breathtaking photos, which take the place of anything and everything I could do.
Iceland is amazing so far, the conference begins in a few hours, and I’m looking to all of you for a bit of lift in my tired gypsy shoes. Talk to me!

April 27th, 2006 at 5:12 am
Iceland is such a beautiful country. Wish I’d had the means to join the conference, but I don’t, so I just hope you have a lot of fun up there and don’t miss to do a little sightseeing, too!

Wish I’m up there in Iceland, Molly and probably see one of those ice castles.
Trade places anybody?
April 27th, 2006 at 7:07 am
Are you sure it wasn’t
Laughing at Andy’s code, and Looking at Eric’s jokes?
Birgit (above) is right, Iceland is wonderful, and do set out some time to sight-see!

Put that on my list of places to visit

Hi there Molly. I’ve been a faithful visitor of this site for quite a while now but this is my first comment here… almost first comment ever on someone else’s blog…
I live in Iceland and a freelance web designer. I was dead set on going to IceWeb. Unfortunately a client whom I’ve been working for on a regular basis doing various projects since January hasn’t paid me yet, in spite of promises, I am now sitting at home banging my head to the wall

Please post photos of Andy’s “code” asap!
April 27th, 2006 at 9:54 am
Don’t miss the hákari! Mmmm…
April 27th, 2006 at 10:51 am
Yay, the next time you have to pack me up in your suitcases and smuggle me there, Molly…

Hi Molly, really enjoyed your talk at IceWeb today. Listening to you guys today was brilliant and just right out inspiring
So thanks a lot for dropping over!

I was intending to go to Iceland this year, but the trip seems to have fallen through.

I’ve just come back from sunny and warm Rome. Hope your trip was as enjoyable as mine!

Hi Molly & Company,
I’m heading off to Iceland August 2006.
I’m running for Team Diabetes Canada. My nephew has Juvenile Diabetes and I’m traveling from Prince George, BC Canada to Iceland and raising funds in support of him. So far I’ve raised $3200…my goal is to double that.
If any of your readers are interested in supporting my efforts here is the Canadian Diabetes Site. https://portal.diabetes.ca/tdocp/customer/createcustomer.asp?new=1&usertype=donor
thank you

There is no question that we all can get along but not without our share of difficulties along the way. It would be better if graphic designers would learn the language but this isn’t often a job expectation and their salary certainly does not reflect the additional skillset. Programmers that I have had the experience to work with do not have the polished CSS skills necessary to take over what the designer intended from a PSD. CSS does require a great deal of time and experience and raw memorization to get a feel for all that you can do with it. So, who is the middle man in all of this? That’s the CSS consultant they hire in desperation nine months into the project to clean up the mess.
