Cherry Blossoms and CSS

IT’S CHERRY BLOSSOM TIME in Virginia, where I’m visiting friends and working for a few days with the awesome web developers at AOL. A bit too busy to write anything of substance at the moment, here’s a link to my Flickr stream so you can check out some of the flowers and fun.

  1. Again, oh to be an internet celebrity and work with random cool web developers!

My favorite place to be in the Spring is Savannah, the breeze coming off the ocean and the trees in bloom. Mmmmmmm, must go and visit my brother-in-law again soon.

We had similar scenes in Charlottesville, VA, this weekend — walking on a nice trail by Monticello (home of Thomas Jefferson): http://www.flickr.com/photos/tonyskyday/sets/224462/

Chris: You get to do cool things too. And trust me, the life of a freelancer is greatly rewarding, but not without its challenges – feast or famine, no insurance, retirement, and other advantages that go along with working for a company, constant travel, wear and tear on energy and voice, and so forth. Don’t get me wrong, I’m NOT complaining, it’s just not a lifestyle suited for everyone.

    Tony: Beautiful!
