austin, here we are!
SXSW IS OFF to a grand start, and while many more people are scheduled to arrive tonight and tomorrow, those of us here are enjoying meeting, greeting, and socializing. And, rumors about the British Invasion are true! I’m sitting here with Andy Budd, Andy Clarke, Richard Rutter, Jeremy Keith, Jon Hicks – and Dunstan is somewhere close by, with Ian Lloyd and Simon Willison and Patrick Griffiths to arrive soon too.
And no slight to the Aussies, we’ve got Maxine Sherrin and John Allsop in from Sydney.

hope you all have a great time!
The real kicker is I am in Houston during SxSW and too busy with work to drive down;
Woohoo — we made it — a fourteen hour drive from Tucson, but we’re here. Unfortunatly the drive really did us in so we’re crashing early tonight, but we’ll be out and about tomorrow night and we certainly won’t miss hearing some ‘B’ sides on Monday night. See ya around.
I really just miss everything. Here I am 40 minutes away from Matt’s apartment and I miss the Worpress release party. Now, my wife is in Austin visiting a friend and hre I am still in Sacto. Is there a community calendar? If so, subscribe me!
I’m here, but you already knew that.
I am here. Staying with family in southwest Austin. Plane got in around 10:30 so I am beat.
Planning on hitting the panels tomorrow starting with Zeldman’s keynote. Also planning on hitting up the Web Standards/CSS-D/whatever meetup before the Frog party.

Your presentation on CSS at today’s panel on Hi Fi Design with CSS was great. Can it be found somehwhere on your site? Plz say hello tomorrow, if you see me. I think I’ll be wearing a grey sweatshirt-like dress and have long brown hair like yours–but not as curley.
