css template winners
WESTCIV TEMPLATE WINNERS were announced this week, celebrating westciv’s recent six year anniversary, and the rise of CSS and web standards.
Check out the new templates, whose winners receive everything from cash prizes to software for participating in the templates competition.

I felt that the provided html file was too restrictive to do something different. Could that be why “Most Innovative” was dry?
Zelnox: I think westciv will do better and better as time goes on with such things. This was a first template contest attempt for westciv, and as a judge for the contest, I agree that lots could be tightened, and the results could have been more innovative – we were all a bit disappointed to not see more innovative designs. But all around good work from many people and certainly lessons learned for future improvements.
Have to agree with Zelnox. I think that the html was restrictive. And most of the templates came out too templatish
Though, the results are still good. I like most of the winner’s designs and coding for that matter.
Liked the winning templates – but most of all, as a newcomer to CSS, liked the westciv approach. Thanks, Molly, for pointing the way…
