I felt that the provided html file was too restrictive to do something different. Could that be why “Most Innovative” was dry?

  2. Molly says:

Zelnox: I think westciv will do better and better as time goes on with such things. This was a first template contest attempt for westciv, and as a judge for the contest, I agree that lots could be tightened, and the results could have been more innovative – we were all a bit disappointed to not see more innovative designs. But all around good work from many people and certainly lessons learned for future improvements.

  3. Hunox says:

Have to agree with Zelnox. I think that the html was restrictive. And most of the templates came out too templatish :) Though, the results are still good. I like most of the winner’s designs and coding for that matter.

  4. Cape Spear says:

Liked the winning templates – but most of all, as a newcomer to CSS, liked the westciv approach. Thanks, Molly, for pointing the way…
