I’ve been thinking about going. I’ve been to WDW in Seattle and Las Vegas, and Builder.com LIVE in NOLA. I’ve always enjoyed the content, but my current employer is parsimonious with the funds for conferences. They apparently can’t see the value in employees attending conferences. Nice philosophy, there…
Zack: what is with that? It’s such poor thinking (literally!) on the employer’s part. You get to learn, get a break from work which is good for morale, and get to come back and share your knowledge with others. What’s more, you come back excited again, so it keeps the passion going.
No kidding!
Every conference I go to is out of my own pocket – guess that’s why I don’t go to many – and none of the $1000+ ones.
sigh
No kidding, Molly. I need a new job…
Hello. Perhaps you point me in the right direction. I would love to go to the conference but cash is a no go. I can only attend Dec.8th so do you have any sugguestions on how I can get in pro-bono or at a really really low rate? Thank you!!
