google’s IPO a boondoggle?
OH GOOGLE, YE of all the answers to my many questions “why?” You came into my life and enriched it so that not a day goes by without my needing to see your sweet face. But what is that weird long thing poking my side? Your IPO you say? Well, it might be happy to see the likes of me, but I’m thinking we may have to rethink our love thang.

I think it was Austin Powers who said: yay Capitalism
After a bit of googling with define:, I think I know what you’re talking about. *reads entry again* Y’know, scratch that.
you know, i dont know why everyone is so up in arms about google’s missteps with this ipo…ie: dutch auction, astronomical asking price and non-registration of 27 million shares as well as establishing a class of “super” shares which will ensure the two founders will always remain in control.
i mean, am i the only one who knows the people who run google are nothing but a bunch of computer geeks who have no interest at all in running a conventional business? THAT’S why i would never go near their ipo with anyone’s ten foot pole….
