It never really went away. Microsoft just managed to fool us all for a while that IE was the ONLY browser in the world, then Netscape managed to screw things up by creating probably the slowest most dinosaur-like browser in the world. I switched to Firefox recently, which is based on the new mozilla engine, and as Windows XP SP1a allows you to change your default browser, guess what my default is? Strange, but I get very few problems these days either, but I do come across the occasional designed-by-idiot website that says “Sorry but your browser is not Internet Explorer.”
“Of course its not you moron,” I feel like shouting at them, “why don’t you learn to code properly!” It’s odd how these sites always seem to use graphics in place of text, tables for layout and lots of pretty (but) useless javascript…
My kung fu is stronger than your kung fu.
This article is very interesting and written by some clever guy.:) Thank you!
