strangest place for a URL
What’s the strangest place you’ve ever seen a URL?
I was standing at my window on a fairly high floor at San Francisco’s Argent Hotel in 1999 and saw a bus pass on the street below with a URL painted on its top. I thought that was pretty novel.
Note to self: Avoid making political posts. You just end up having to explain yourself, sort of like a bad joke.

Back to the point - strangest place for a URL. Good one Dave - but is it true?
A few of us at WaSP keep threatening to get drunk one night and go get tattoos of the WaSP logo (http://www.webstandards.org/). It would make a cool tattoo, really.
So, back to your regularly scheduled strangest URL locations . . .

I recently attended the Oregon Health Sciences & University’s educational fair and one of booths was collecting business cards with a bed pan and it was branded and had a url. It was very funny but I wondered who would want to place thier card in a portable toilet? Medical humor I guess.

that condom url was true. saw it on a give away at a booth on the University of Oklahoma campus some time back, and by the way, Where would you get that logo tattooed??????? hummmmmm if so i would like to see

Definitely the little plastic mats they put in urinals to keep gum and cigarette butts from clogging the drain.

Molly, Molly, Molly, you should know better. Never call the psychic hot line before making a major life altering decision, Spit into the wind, or post something on your blog that your Mother might take real offense at and give you the hairy eyeball for the rest of your life. Most of all never express your own viewpoint on religion or politics, after all this is America and lots of people take that to mean the “no right to be wrong in thier opinion” instead of “the right to free speech”. POV(point of view) is like a URL only you dont get a 404 error just backlash. Now they can come after me, nawhaha.

I think the condom URL is a terrific idea. Depending on the conditions, you could see different levels of the directory structure.

Depends on how you print the URL on the condom. If you printed it lengthwise from the tip, you might have a useful advert.
If you printed it around the circumference toward the top of the condom, guys like me would never unroll the condom far enough to see the ad.

In a related note to Porter’s, I saw a url on a cake of toilet mint in a urinal one time. He reminded me of that.
What’s funny about that is the metaphorical implications. I, like many other guys, target those mints deliberately.
